Frequently Asked Questions

What are the time restrictions for our wedding day?

We don’t believe in time restrictions! We will arrive at whatever time you want in the morning, and we will stay as long as there are people to photograph. Some of the best photos happen on the dance floor once the drinks have been flowing, and we would hate to miss them because we left after the first dance!

Can we have a tailor made package?

Absolutely! We understand that not everyone has the same requirements, and will happily alter any package to suit you and your day.

Do you do destination weddings?

Yes please! We have many destination weddings under our belts, and always welcome the opportunity to shoot in different climates! We ask that you cover the cost of travel for us and our equipment, and also accommodation for 2-4 nights, destination dependant.

Do we need to decide which package we want straight away?

Not at all - your deposit secures us for the whole day, so you don’t need to make a decision until you are ready. However, if you would like a pre-wedding photoshoot we ask for as much advanced notice as possible.

How do we book you?

If you decide we are the right photographers for you, we ask for a £250 deposit to secure us for your day. The remainder of your balance can be paid however and whenever suits you - so long as it is all paid by your big day, you have total freedom to decide your own payment plan!

We don’t really like having our photos taken - is this a problem?

No! We also hate having our photos taken - that’s probably why we prefer to stay behind the camera! We pride ourselves on taking natural, fun photos, and capturing your chemistry as a couple. We will meet with you a number of times before your wedding so that you will feel comfortable around us, and the rest will come naturally!

Are we allowed to print and share our photos?

Yes - we grant you full printing rights to your photos, which means you are welcome to share them with family and friends, and get them printed yourselves should you wish. We will hold the copyright to the images, and it is possible we will use them for advertising on social media, our website and marketing brochures.

Do we have to have two photographers?

All our packages include two photographers as we believe we work best as a team, and this allows us to capture many more candid moments that may otherwise be missed. However, we do offer the option of just one photographer at a discounted rate.

Do you charge for travel?

We don’t generally charge for travel unless your venue requires us to book flights or ferries, for example. If your wedding is over 1 hour 30 minutes from Banbury we may ask you to provide a night or two accommodation so we can ensure we are at your wedding promptly on the day, without the worries of traffic. (Don’t worry, we don’t require anything fancy!) This will all be agreed before you book us, so there will be no hidden charges.

Do you do videography?

We have teamed up with Drew Webb Weddings to offer you videography in your package if desired. Check out The Collaboration package for more information.

How long will it take to get our images?

Shortly after your big day we will send you over a small sneak peek of some of your photos, just to keep you going until the main editing is done! Editing the full set can take up to 12 weeks in busy periods, as we edit every photo individually to ensure you receive the best quality. We endeavour to keep you updated throughout the process, and will do our upmost to get your images to you as quickly as we can.

How will we receive our images?

Your sneak peek will be sent to you digitally shortly after your wedding day. Once all of your images have been edited, they will be uploaded to the Client Login area of our website - this is password protected and means you can share these with anyone you choose. We will then send your high resolution images to you on your USB - these can be printed and shared as you desire.

How does the album process work?

Once you have received your images, we ask that you send us the numbers of around 80-100 images that you would like in your album. We will then design your album and send you a proof to check over. Once designed and ordered, it can take up to 6 weeks for the album to be made and delivered.

Please note that during peak wedding season we have to prioritise shooting & editing. We make every effort to get your albums designed and to you as soon as possible, but please be aware there may be restrictions during certain times.

What is a parent book?

A parent book is an identical but smaller version of your album, traditionally given to your parents. The parent books can have a different design to your main album for a small fee. Additional parent books can also be purchased.

How can we pay you?

Our preferred payment method is bank transfer, but other methods are available.

Are you insured?

We are fully insured with public liability, professional indemnity and equipment insurance. If your venue would like to see our public liability certificate, just let us know.

We have a friend who is a keen photographer - do you mind if they take photos too?

Of course not! We love meeting new people who have a passion for photography. All we ask is that everyone allows us our time to capture all the moments you as a couple have asked us for - after all, that’s what we are there for!
